Spring Benefit

Thank you for making WEDS in Full Bloom an evening of gratitude, impact, and joy. 

WEDS in Full Bloom was joyful, moving, and filled with so much love for this school and the kids we all care about so deeply. Looking around the room and seeing current families, alumni parents, faculty, staff, trustees, friends, and supporters all together in one place felt really special.

Thank you for showing up for WEDS so wholeheartedly.

We’re so grateful to Alice and her entire Acquolina Catering team, who made our school feel elegant, warm, festive, and welcoming all at once. From the champagne at the entrance to the cocktail carts, caviar, and incredible food, every detail made the evening feel magical.

A huge thank you as well to our Benefit Chair, Ava, who curated our most exciting auction lineup yet and generated so much excitement around the event. She was an absolute joy to partner with.

We are also overwhelmed by the generosity of this community. From the spirited bidding wars at the event to the many donations and bids placed from afar, together we raised important funds for the growth of our school and for the newly launched WEDS Empowerment Fund. This new fund supports the people who support our students every day—our remarkable faculty and staff—through professional development, training, and learning opportunities.

And then there was Greg.

Anyone who knows our Technology Specialist Greg Kinsey knows how much heart, creativity, humor, and humanity he brings to WEDS every single day. But perhaps the most powerful moment of the evening came when Greg himself spoke. Instead of talking about his own accomplishments, he spoke about his coworkers, our families, and especially our students—all of whom, he said, changed his life.

By the end of his speech, the entire room was on its feet. It was one of those moments that reminded all of us exactly what WEDS is about. Please take a moment to watch his tribute video.

Thank you for your generosity, your partnership, your excitement, and your belief in this school. WEDS exists because of people who care deeply about helping children feel understood, capable, and successful.
