West End Day School Launches Middle School Program

We are proud to announce a major milestone in West End Day School’s history—the launch of our brand-new middle school program!

For over 40 years, WEDS has guided students through their early academic and social journeys. Now, we are expanding that mission into the critical middle school years, offering even more support, more growth, and more opportunity for each student to thrive.

Our middle school is uniquely designed to meet the needs of adolescents with:

• Personalized academic programs in STEM, literacy, writing, math, history, and foreign language
• Targeted executive functioning instruction embedded in every subject area
• Dedicated counseling and advisory groups to support social-emotional development
• Technology and enrichment electives, including art, theater, engineering, chess, and more
• Real-world learning experiences through day and overnight trips, lunch outings, and community exploration

Every part of the program reflects our belief that middle school should be a place where students are empowered to discover who they are, what they love, and how they learn best—a middle school where more is possible.
