Women’s History Month at WEDS

Throughout the month, Ms. McGowan & Ms. Treanor’s class highlighted important women inventors who have impacted our day-to-day lives. The class shared accomplishments and interesting facts about these amazing women during school wide announcements every morning for the entire school to enjoy and learn from. 

Every class also highlighted literature featuring strong female main characters and female writers, which was also on display throughout the month in our Library. Parents and faculty were able to take a moment to acknowledge and celebrate the women of our leadership team at our annual Alumni Cocktail Party for their respective 10-20 years each of inspiring and empowering students every day!
